The legacy of Dr. Amy Patrice Ringer was born July 30, 1982 in Rome, Georgia. She was the cherished eldest daughter of her loving parents, Pastors Zachery and Patricia Ringer. Amy had a beautiful smile and a pure heart. She was an avid and lifelong learner, dedicating herself to the healthcare field. Her journey began in 2004 as a Pharmacy Technician. Throughout her time in the healthcare field, Amy also served as a Clinical Support Technician and Oncology IV Fusion Technician. Amy always had a desire to advocate for those who could not speak for themselves. She also wanted to be a source of knowledge in communities lacking resources and a healthcare provider for those in need. Her dedication to these aspirations led her to become a Doctor of Pharmacy in Spring of 2023. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) with a 3.57 GPA. Following her tenure at PCOM, she was one of four students accepted to complete a residency program where her concentration was in Clinical Heart Failure. Healthcare was not Amy’s only passion, though. She was also an exceptional pianist and dedicated member at First Baptist Holiness Church. She served as the Minister of Music for over two decades. Amy was an outstanding daughter, sister, cousin, friend, student, pianist, and pharmacist. However, her most treasured title and greatest joy in life was being a mom to King. Amy will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
Dr. Amy Ringer was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reverend George and Beatrice Askew, and paternal grandparents, Madison and Willie Louise Ringer. She was also preceded in death by her precious niece, Olivia Gracie-Ann Denson and other loved ones.
Dr. Amy Ringer transitioned to Heaven on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Left to cherish her sweet memories are her parents, Pastors Zachery and Patricia Ringer, whom she adored. She also leaves her son King Zachery Ringer, who was the light of her life. Amy is also survived by her beloved sisters, Deidre Ringer, Shelley (Javionne) Sanders, and Whitney (Tevias) Ringer; her aunt Maeretha (Paul) Alexander; uncles Walter CT Askew, Al (Stella) Ringer, and Reverend Nathaniel Daniel (the late Estella Daniel). Amy also leaves behind her nephews Bryson Denson, Brody Ringer, Jamison Sanders, and Langston Sanders; nieces Abigail Diamond, and Ava McConnell, and special cousins Laterrica Wright, Wykeena Williams, Hillary Daniel, and Dominique Daniel, all of whom she loved dearly. Finally, Amy leaves behind special friends Monica Castilleja, Shahrzad Sobhi, Manderrious Glenn, Mir Mirjan, Ali Saheb, Courtney Epps, Andrew Wilson, Sophia Jenkins, Haley Johnson, Lizbeth Bent, Charvez Perry, and Kathy Khorram, and many other outstanding classmates and coworkers.
