Mother Mary L. Chubbs, age 85, of Rome transitioned on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Surrounded by her loving family, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest with Jesus Christ. We will Celebrate the Life of Mother Mary L. Chubbs on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Lovejoy Baptist Church (Rome, GA). Interment will follow the Celebration at Eastview Cemetery (Rome).

**Public viewing for Mother Chubbs will take place Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 12 noon until 7 pm at the Funeral Home: the family will receive friends at F. K. Jones Funeral Home in Peek Chapel on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 6 pm until 7 pm.
