Mr. James Eugene Johnson

Mr. James Eugene Johnson, age 69, of Rockmart (formerly of Richmond, VA) transitioned December 9, 2024.

James Eugene Johnson was born on June 8, 1955.  He was called home on December 9, 2024, with his wife and daughter by his side.   He is survived by his wife, Annie Johnson; sons, James Johnson Jr. and Morvitz Jordan; daughters, Natasha Jordan-Wilson (Gregory) and Temekia Donald (Albert); grandchildren, Aceya, Alexus, Christopher Jr., Marcellus, Albert Jr., Tayshona, A’sunay, Joshua, Aniya, Jordan and Tamia; three great grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Paniell and Willie Diggs (Edward) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 2 PM at New Bethel Baptist Church, 3429 Collard Valley Rd., Cedartown, GA. Interment will follow the Celebration at Polk Memory Gardens (Cedartown).

Public Viewing will be Friday, December 13, 2024 from 11 am until 6 pm at the Funeral Home and Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 1 pm until the funeral hour at New Bethel Baptist Church.
