Mr. Roderick Gibson

On Friday, August 16, 2019, Roderick Sean Gibson, joined the ancestral cloud of witnesses. His family and friends are heartbroken but know they will see him again. Roderick slipped away peacefully after a long battle with kidney disease. He dreamed of one day receiving a kidney transplant, one orchestrated by God and God alonea perfect match made in heaven. The family will receive condolences at his Mothers home, Mrs. Lavonne Johnson, 700 Montgomery Avenue, Apt #8, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.

The viewing will take place on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the F. K. Jones Funeral Home, 1205 M L King, Jr., Blvd, Rome, Georgia, 10 AM until 8 PM. Family visitation is scheduled from 6 pm to 7 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 12 Noon at The Anna Kresge United Methodist Church, 15 Booger Hollow Rd, Cedartown, GA 30125. The immediate family will assemble at the church at 11:45 AM to line-up for the processional into the sanctuary.

Interment immediately following the funeral service at Polk Memory Gardens, 2245 Rockmart Hwy, Cedartown, GA 30125.
