Mrs. Adiel C. Lisbon

Mrs. Adiel C. Lisbon (Retired Educator), age 98, of Atlanta transitioned January 6, 2026. 

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Adiel C. Lisbon, who peacefully answered God’s call after 98 years of a life well lived and faithfully served others as an educator, leaving a legacy of love cherished by many, will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 2295 Benjamin E. Mays Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30311. Reverend Damon P. Williams, PhD, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.

The Zeta Burial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. at Murray Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., 1199 Utoy Springs Road, SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. Public viewing will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a Friends and Family Hour from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
