Ms. Amaya Michelle Guthrie

Amaya Guthrie was a passenger in the vehicle when another car struck them, taking her life at the intersection of Cedar Grove Rd and South Fulton Parkway in South Fulton, GA. As a lifelong resident of South Fulton, Langston Hughes alumna, and online small business owner, she was well loved by many in her community. Being only 24 years old, her focus was solely on work and developing her business rather than preparing for the possibility that her journey through life might be cut short. Her family is heartbroken and has entrusted F. K. Jones Funeral Home to prepare for her final physical destination here on earth. Services Celebrating Amaya's Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10 am at her grandfather's church, First Apostolic Church International located at 2230 Rex Rd. in Morrow, GA 30260. The interment will follow the Celebration at College Park Memorial Cemetery (3600 Adams St. Atlanta, Ga.).
