Retired Sgt. Major Harvey Joe Bynum

Retired Sgt. Major Harvey Joe Bynum, age 84, of Cedar Bluff, Al transitioned July 23, 2025 peacefully at 11:47 pm (Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL). Sgt. Major Bynum is survived by his wife; Mrs. Piacenti J. Bynum, son; Joseph L. Bynum, sister; Lois Bynum, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of life for Retired Sgt. Major Bynum will be Monday, July 28, 2025 at 12 noon (CT) at New hope Community Church (835 County Rd. 115 Cedar Bluff, AL). The body will lie in state from 11 am (CT) until the Celebration hour. Interment will follow the Celebration at Weiss Lake Cemetery (Gaylesville, AL).
